Woodloch Resort

Harry-and-Mary1Woodloch was named after Louise and George Lochwood who entertained guests on the majestic Lake Teedyuskung during the summertime. The dazzling lake was named in the early 18th century after the Susquehanna Delaware Indians’ Chief Teedyuskung.  A work of love, Woodloch was founded in 1958 by Harry and Marry Kiesendahl, at the time the 12 acre property only contained a main lodge and two small cottages. With plenty of work to be done and frigid winters ahead the Kiesendahls and their 3 children, John, Nancy and Steven, soon found their niche in Northeast Pennsylvania and established the beauty that is Woodloch.

Woodloch Pines Resort now consists of over 1,200 acres and can accommodate over 1,000 guests. This gorgeous four-season Poconos resort offers endless activities, delicious meals and immaculate & spacious accommodations that are perfect for family vacations, corporate retreats, weddings, reunions, class trips & scouts, dinner and a show, day trips, senior group tours,  and milestone celebrations!
